Our general dentistry practice in NE Portland is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to work 34-40 hours per week Monday through Thursday. The contributions of our staff members cannot be overstated, as each one has a specific purpose and unique opportunity to interact with our patients and provide a positive experience in our office. We are looking for a person with extraordinary character, a positive attitude, very outgoing and passionate, enthusiastic, and respectful to patients and coworkers. Extensive clinical experience is preferred but not required, but the ability and desire to continually learn and improve is. We are looking for a person with interesting life experiences outside of dentistry, a well-rounded individual that can communicate and interact with patients both personally and professionally. Solid communication skills both verbally and electronically are crucial to this position.
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications/attributes:
Minimum one year of dental experience
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant is a plus
Radiology certified in Oregon is a plus
Experience processing insurance claims, scheduling patients, and discussing treatment plans
Highly organized
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Experience with Eaglesoft dental software
Dependable and honest
Outgoing and compassionate
Excellent computer skills
Works well within a team atmosphere
Positive attitude
