The ideal candide will be a Physical Therapy Assistant with professional competency as a general practitioner in physical therapy; demonstred independent use of varied trement approaches; and the ability to work in a team environment.

The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide physical therapy services to pients including trement, training, and equipment recommendions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist according to the ste requirements of which the provider is practicing.

Primary Duties:

• Documents and charges for pient care activities painting a clear picture of the pient's course of care under supervision of licensed physical therapist according to the ste's requirement. Documents ongoing communicion with the physical therapist.

• Demonstres effective time management and meets productivity expections. Manage an accure schedule. Demonstres a professional commitment to provide frictionless pient access to care through flexibility, adaptability, creivity, and actions/behaviors th display emphy in our pient consumer driven environment Arranges schedule for re-evaluions and discharge summaries to be done by a physical therapist.

• Completes approprie discharge planning, follow-up care, and determinion of equipment needs in collaborion with supervising physical therapist. Demonstres initiive in contributing innovive ideas for pient trement. Involves pient and family as approprie in trement and discharge planning through educion and training. Provides pient trement services including review of pertinent historical informion, safely administering modalities, and providing interventions within the trement plan's limits under supervision of licensed physical therapist. Collabores interventions with other team members toward an interdisciplinary approach where approprie.

• Recognizes and documents changes/response in pient's condition and contributes to modificion of the trement plan in collaborion with, and under the supervision of, a licensed physical therapist. Provides verbal/written reports as approprie for pient progress conferences where applicable.

• Takes initiive in pursuing and directing continuing educion for professional growth and competency for self and organizion. Serves as a clinical instructor to assigned students as approprie.

Qualificions:

• Gradue of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant school.

• Associe degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

• Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure required as deemed necessary for your specific locion(s).

• American Heart Associions BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscition) certificion.
