Physical Therapist - Pediatric Outpatient (Travel)

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a travel opportunity in Juneau, AK, providing pediatric outpatient physical therapy services. The clinician will perform evaluations and treatments across a wide range of ages and diagnoses, develop and implement therapy plans, and oversee support staff. This role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and participation in care conferences to optimize patient outcomes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Alaska physical therapy license required at time of submission.
  • Pediatric physical therapy experience required.
  • Must have current influenza vaccination.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Ability to review clinical records, perform assessments, establish therapy diagnoses, and create goal-directed treatment plans.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising Physical Therapist Assistants or other designated staff.

Assignment Details

  • 40 hours per week. Shifts vary.
  • MondayFriday 7:00 AM6:00 PM.
  • Saturday 8:00 AM1:00 PM.
  • Shifts structured as 4x10 per Medefis shift detail.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide general physical therapy evaluations and treatments that improve patients' functional abilities. Implement, supervise, and modify therapy plans of care based on patient response. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to continuity of care. Maintain documentation and clinical records to support patient progress and outcomes.
