Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

High School completion required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.

Required Skills/Experience:1+ years of ICU experience required.Previous experience with ventilators required.

Unit Details:Provides respiratory care therapy and supportive equipment for hospitalized patients with deficiencies of the cardiopulmonary system.Includes diagnostic evaluation, intubation assistance, and ventilator set-up and management.

Shift & Scheduling:Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required.No on-call required.

Floating Requirements:Must be willing to float to adult ICU areas, intermediate care, and basic intermediate care floor.

Required Credentials:Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.

7 days maximum time off

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
