Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Prior experience in hospital and/or rehabilitation settings is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of therapy assessment, planning, and implementation within acute and elder care populations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary care team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver evidence-based OT interventions in both acute and long-term care units
- Evaluate progress, document outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers to promote independence and self-management
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Support a safe and comfortable environment for all patients
