Qualifications the ideal candidate will bring:

  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license for Washington State and ESA certification
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and SLP-CCC candidates are welcome
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric SLP work
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, evaluations, and developing treatment plans
  • Comfort with a range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering progress and inclusion for diverse student populations

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Keeping thorough records and documenting student progress
  • Participating in IEP meetings and sharing expert recommendations
  • Supporting a positive, inclusive, and communicative school environment
