Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of appropriate SLP/A program
- Valid and current certification (CCC preferred; candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year welcomed)
- Relevant state licensure or eligibility required
- Experience in school-based settings or pediatric healthcare preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy solutions considered a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges in students
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and strategies
- Maintain accurate progress records, attend IEP meetings, and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in person and via teletherapy as needed
- Provide support, guidance, and education to teachers, families, and assistants
- Stay informed on best practices and professional development opportunities
