Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Newark, DE

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of appropriate SLP/A program
• Valid and current certification (CCC preferred; candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year welcomed)
• Relevant state licensure or eligibility required
• Experience in school-based settings or pediatric healthcare preferred
• Familiarity with teletherapy solutions considered a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges in students
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and strategies
• Maintain accurate progress records, attend IEP meetings, and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in person and via teletherapy as needed
• Provide support, guidance, and education to teachers, families, and assistants
