Occupational Therapist School Setting - Centralia, WA

In this contract opportunity, youll work 37.5 hours per week, supporting students district-wide near Centralia, WA. Your skills in traditional school settings, home health, healthcare, and teletherapy will help deliver comprehensive services, ensuring every child has the resources they need for success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Washington Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Experience in school-based OT, home health, and healthcare settings
• Skilled in providing effective OT interventions individually, in small groups, and via teletherapy
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Creative problem-solver passionate about student development

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement OT services across a range of school environments, adapting methods for in-person and remote delivery
• Collaborate with educators and families to optimize student participation in academic and social activities
• Maintain thorough records and participate in team meetings regarding student progress and needs
• Offer professional guidance and recommendations for accommodations and equipment to support access and participation
