Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Cicero, IL

This full-time opportunity spans three school sites and runs from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on a contract basis. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), your expertise and dedication will help empower students in achieving greater independence and access in their educational journey.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Illinois COTA license required
• Experience in a school setting preferred, particularly with students who have moderate to severe disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and therapy teams
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to inclusive education

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Support students in developing functional skills for classroom participation, self-care, and social interaction
• Travel between three designated school sites to provide consistent services
• Document student progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor interventions
• Assist in the adaptation of school environments to foster student independence and success
