Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist in a dynamic educational setting near Newark, NJ. In this full-time position, youll support K-12 students across multiple schools within a district-wide program. Collaborate with a passionate multidisciplinary team to provide essential therapy services, fostering student growth and well-being during the upcoming school year. The role offers a consistent schedule from 8:30AM to 3:15PM, Monday through Friday, for 35 hours each week, starting September 4, 2026 and ending June 25, 2027.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Current valid Physical Therapy license issued by the state of New Jersey
• Proven experience or strong interest working in school-based settings, spanning K-12 populations
• Willingness and ability to fulfill all New Jersey-specific employment requirements, including a TB test, completion of a physical examination, and obtaining fingerprints for both the staffing agency and school district
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in diverse and multi-age student groups
• Comfort with virtual interviews (Zoom platform) as part of the hiring process
• Ability to travel between multiple school locations as needed throughout the district

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to students with varied needs across a range of grade levels
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate closely with educators, school staff, and families to support students academic participation and physical success
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all district and state compliance standards
• Contribute expertise and positivity to school teams for an inclusive, student-centered experience
