Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join our traveling Physical Therapist team in Hyattsville, MD, supporting outpatient orthopedics. You will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while working in a clinic that schedules follow-ups and re-evaluations in 30-minute slots and new evaluations in 60-minute slots. Clinics provide an aide to assist with patient flow. New graduates may be considered; experience is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Entry-level or advanced degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral) from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Maryland PT license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience or comfort working in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload; clinics expect approximately 12 patient visits in an 8-hour day.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior outpatient orthopedic clinic experience.
  • Familiarity with 30-minute follow-up and 60-minute new evaluation scheduling workflows.

  • New patient evaluations are scheduled for 60 minutes.
  • Expect a busy outpatient caseload with approximately 12 visits per 8-hour day.
