Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Roseville, CA at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. The position requires a commitment to patient-centered care, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. No new graduates.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
• Active California Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Experience evaluating and developing treatment plans, delegation of discipline-specific therapy services, and functional treatment program design preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical record documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
• Ability to participate in student supervision and provide a professional learning environment.
• Demonstrated adherence to state practice act, professional licensure in good standing, and completion of mandated continuing education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting with a focus on return-to-community and functional outcomes.
• Experience with performance improvement initiatives and quality improvement processes.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, structured as 5x8.
• Clinic requires adherence to standards of personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
• Candidate may be expected to perform safe patient handling, materials handling, and follow infectious disease and workplace safety protocols.
