Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Gardnerville, NV. Provide therapeutic services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting to help them regain or improve daily living skills after injury, illness, or disability. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Nevada Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience providing occupational therapy in skilled nursing or post-acute care settings preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress for geriatric or long-term care populations preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with restorative nursing programs, ADL training, and adaptive equipment recommendations preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
