Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a skilled nursing facility in Sulphur Springs, TX as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. New graduates are welcome. You will conduct evaluations, develop and implement personalized treatment plans, utilize therapeutic techniques and modalities, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, monitor progress, and maintain accurate documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted Physical Therapist license for TX required to start the assignment.
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
- New graduates welcome. This is preferred, not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a SNF or LTC setting.
- Familiarity with documentation requirements and electronic medical records systems.
- Experience with therapeutic modalities commonly used in geriatric rehabilitation.
