Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Columbus, MS. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide home health OT services that help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living skills while working in a community setting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's or higher degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. (Bachelors acceptable if already credentialed as OT.)
- Active Mississippi Occupational Therapy state license required to start the assignment.
- Professional certification required. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience providing occupational therapy in home health settings preferred.
- Ability to travel within assigned coverage areas: Lowndes, Clay, and Noxubee counties.
- Willingness to follow agency dress code; specified scrub color: Royal Blue.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous home health (HH) experience. This is preferred and will set a candidate apart.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 20000400.
- On-call/weekend requirement: No.
- Coverage areas include Lowndes, Clay, and Noxubee counties.
- Weekly hour guarantee: 40 hours.

Impacting Patient Care
Provide occupational therapy services to home health patients across the assigned counties. Responsibilities include evaluating functional status, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team to support patient independence and safety in the home environment.
