Desired Background & Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized plans and therapeutic interventions
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation expectations
• Adaptable and organized approach to managing a caseload in a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students motor needs and create personalized treatment plans
• Provide direct physical therapy services in classroom, therapy room, or other school settings
• Track and report progress, maintaining all necessary documentation in compliance with school and state standards
• Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and caregivers to support student goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights, recommendations, and progress reports
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive educational environment
