Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant required prior to start.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant, with experience treating geriatric patients preferred.
  • Proof of current CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Current valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance required.
  • Ability to perform physical demands of home health care including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, prolonged standing and walking.
  • Ability to travel locally and float to other service locations as needed.
  • Must read, write and speak fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in home health environments preferred.
  • Prior experience with documentation and billing compliance for third-party payors preferred.

Assignment Details

  • Shift: Days, five 8-hour shifts per week.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel locally.
  • Must submit clinical paperwork to the office on time each week.

Impacting Patient Care

You will administer treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist, provide therapeutic exercises and modalities within PTA scope, document patient status, participate in department education, and promote compliance with payor requirements. The role requires independent clinical decision making within scope and timely communication with supervising clinicians and management.
