Occupational Therapist - Rehab

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Occupational Therapist to work at a Facility in Falls Church , VA. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $61 / hour

Duties:

• Assess patients physical, mental, and developmental abilities
• Create individualized therapy plans
• Help patients improve daily living skills (dressing, eating, bathing)
• Provide therapy to improve motor skills and coordination
• Recommend assistive devices and adaptive equipment
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans
• Document therapy sessions and patient outcomes
• Work with doctors and healthcare team
• Support patients in becoming more independent

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Occupational Therapist
• Must have up to date credentials in the state of VA
• A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Familiarity with medical terminology
