We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Peabody, KS. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist patients in regaining daily living skills and functional independence. Applicants with the required licensure and relevant skilled nursing experience are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active KS State License or compact-eligible license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Ability to implement treatment plans under OT supervision and document patient progress accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with adaptive equipment, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADL) training preferred.
