Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Travel Job

Were hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Walterboro, SC where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelors degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• One year of RRT experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Experience with ventilators (Puritan Bennett 840 and 980), V60 and V30 BiPAPs, Aerogen aerosol system, ABG sampling, oxygen delivery, and general respiratory procedures.
• Experience with electronic documentation systems, specifically MediTech, preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a 12-hour night shift environment.
• Prior hospital experience in a similar unit with ventilator-dependent patients.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 19000700.
• 12-hour night shifts.
• Scheduled to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
• Unit staffing: typically 2 RRTs per shift.
• Floating policy: does not float.
