Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Hartsville, SC, where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while working in an outpatient hospital setting. You will evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs, provide patient education on injury prevention and ergonomics, and supervise physical therapy assistants and aides. State licensure is required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Must hold an active South Carolina Physical Therapist license. Attach copy to submission packet.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience as a Physical Therapist. Hospital experience preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Attach copy to submission packet.
  • Experience in outpatient therapy required.
  • Ability to perform occasional acute care evaluations as scheduled.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising physical therapy assistants and aides.
  • Familiarity with hospital and outpatient EMR systems.

Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM5:00 PM.
  • Friday hours: 8:00 AM12:30 PM.
  • Occasional weekend coverage for acute care evaluations on a rotation of approximately every 5 weeks.
  • Position is outpatient within a hospital system.
