Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Keystone Heights, FL. You will work with outpatients recovering from orthopedic injuries or conditions, helping them move better and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Florida PTA license or active license for the state listed is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred.
• Familiarity with Clinicient or WebPT EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel PTA experience.
• Experience managing patient caseloads of 1012 patients per day in outpatient orthopedic clinics.

Assignment Details

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic in Keystone Heights, FL.
• Typical caseload averages: PT clinicians 1012 patients per day; OT averages 810 patients per day.
• One-hour evaluations.
• Four therapists staffed in each clinic with a full-time technician to support check-in and setup.
• EMR: Clinicient / WebPT.
• PTA and PT candidates are being considered; submit resume to sub.
