Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location in Middletown, RI. This opportunity is in a skilled nursing facility setting and will involve working with a varied patient population to support functional independence and discharge goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Rhode Island Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ADL/IADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and documentation in electronic health records preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
  • Experience with restorative nursing programs and fall prevention strategies preferred.

Assignment Details

  • Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
  • Shift Pattern: 5x8.
