Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Owosso, MI where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new community. You will evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. You will supervise PTAs and support staff as needed and provide patient, family, and community education.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Michigan physical therapy license is required to start the assignment. LARA must indicate active MI license. (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience. Acute care experience is required.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification. (Required)
- Work history, skills checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to Physical Therapy. (Required document)
- Two supervisory references with dates employed listed. (Required document)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience treating joint replacements, stroke/neuro, cardiac, pulmonary (COPD, pneumonia), trauma/orthopedic injuries, amputations, general medical/surgical patients, and ICU/critical care patients.
- Experience as a clinical instructor or mentor for PT or PTA students.
Assignment Details
- Shift start times negotiable: 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM.
- 8-hour shifts with a 40-hour weekly guarantee.
- No weekend requirement.
