Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide outpatient physical therapy services in Springfield, PA, evaluating patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, and directing discipline-specific therapy services. Design functional treatment programs that support patients returning to community activities. Educate patients, families, students, and coworkers. Maintain professional standards, compliance with confidentiality requirements, and adherence to organizational code of conduct and safety practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Pennsylvania State Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Demonstrated competence in completing comprehensive evaluations, developing treatment plans, goal writing, and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
  • Ability to supervise and provide appropriate delegation to discipline-specific therapy staff and to participate in student training when assigned.
  • Maintain professional licensure in good standing and satisfy state-mandated continuing education requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with functional treatment programs aimed at community reintegration.
  • Prior involvement in performance improvement initiatives and quality programs.
