Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Terrell, TX. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient setting, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to restore function and facilitate return to community activities. The clinician will provide education to patients, families, students, and coworkers, document care in accordance with regulatory and clinic requirements, and participate in performance improvement and professional development activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Occupational Therapy state license in Texas required to start the assignment.
- Lymphedema experience required (client-specific requirement).
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Documentation skills sufficient to complete evaluations, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in a timely manner.
- Ability to follow physician orders and work within insurance approvals as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to work within interdisciplinary team and to supervise or direct discipline-specific therapy services as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient therapy settings.
- Experience participating in student clinical education and mentoring.
- Prior involvement in quality improvement or performance improvement initiatives.

- Schedule: 5x8.
- Facility type: Outpatient clinic setting (note: candidate may be expected to follow clinic policies and procedures).
