School Speech Language Pathologist - Basehor, Kansas

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a current SLP license in Kansas.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered.
• Experience in a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged students, is highly valued.
• Comfortable managing a caseload of around 65 students.
• Demonstrated skill in conducting both therapy sessions and comprehensive evaluations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students.
• Conduct assessments to determine students needs and track progress.
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate closely with educators, faculty, and families to support student goals.
• Split time between two schools and enjoy autonomy in planning your own schedule.
• Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and best practices.
