Occupational Therapist School Setting - Park Ridge, IL

This contract Occupational Therapist opportunity offers full-time hours across five days per week, providing services to a diverse caseload within school settings. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams while developing and implementing therapy plans tailored to each students unique needs.

Qualifications & Credentials:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Active Illinois OT license
• Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License)
• Previous experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare settings preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students motor skills and functional abilities within academic settings
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans and interventions
• Work directly with students both individually and in groups to foster functional independence
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and staff to integrate therapy goals into students educational plans
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input for student support programs
