This full-time position offers a steady schedule of 33.5 hours per week, all within a single school site conveniently located near Des Plaines, IL.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in school-based or healthcare SLPA roles preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with speech-language pathologists, educators, and other school staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and achievement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside supervising SLPs to implement individualized treatment plans for high school students
  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Support students progress toward IEP goals by tracking and documenting interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote generalization of communication skills within the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with assessments and data collection
  • Foster a positive, supportive learning environment for students
  • Communicate professionally with parents, caregivers, and the educational team
