Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Wilmington, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license for the state of North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
• Previous experience in school settings is a plus
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and special education procedures
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to connect with students, staff, and families from a variety of backgrounds

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide input for goal development, and update progress
• Offer consultation and resources for teachers and caregivers regarding communication strategies
• Support students across grades with direct and consultative speech-language services
