School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Waynesville, North Carolina

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but strong CFs will be considered
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-age populations is a plus
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or small group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student development
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and staff meetings as needed
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
