This role evaluates patients, develops and implements treatment plans, documents care, delegates discipline-specific therapy services, and contributes to patient and employee safety initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active State of Texas PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy required.
- Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and perform timely, accurate documentation including letters of medical necessity and charge entry.
- Familiarity with state practice act, regulatory requirements, and performance improvement processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising or delegating to therapy assistants and students.
- Previous travel or contract therapy experience preferred.
- Experience working with productivity and quality metrics in an outpatient clinic preferred.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Workweek structure: 5x8 format.
- Start: ASAP.
- May be required to participate in student clinical education and professional development activities.
