Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Fresno, CA. Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active California Physical Therapy Assistant licensure required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required. Acceptable from AHA or ARC.
• Experience working in inpatient acute hospital or medical-surgical settings preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel PTA experience preferred.
• Experience with mobility training, therapeutic exercise, and assistive device fitting preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours include 0730-1600, with possible shifts of 0700-1530 or 0800-1630.
• Work schedule is 40 hours per week.
• Call requirement: one weekend per month.
• May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
