Physical Therapist - Inpatient Hospital (casual position)

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team! Position Summary: Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned. Casual position in acute care- working in multiple areas of hospital including general med/surgical, tele, ortho, neuro, oncology, and ICU. Schedule requires a minimum of 2 weekend days per month; opportunities to fill in on weekdays and holidays as needed if interested. Acute care experience required. Work Schedule: Minimum of 2 weekend shifts per month. Option to pick up additional weekday shifts if desired. Required Qualifications: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Doctorate, master's, or bachelor's degree in physical therapy Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy Preferred Qualifications: Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting. Recommend membership in related professional organization. Proficient with communication and data processing equipment. Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise. Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.
