Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with inpatient and outpatient experience and an active Illinois license.

• Work involves both inpatient acute care, swing bed patients, and outpatient rural clinic settings
• Unit consists of 8-10 inpatient beds and outpatient services for a variety of conditions
• Monday to Friday day shifts, generally 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Uses EPIC for documentation, rehab equipment, and computerized HEP program (MedBridge)
• Part of an interdisciplinary team including other PTs, PTAs, and OTs
• Responsibilities include evaluation, reassessment, and treatment of a range of physical therapy conditions
• Specialized services such as pelvic floor are not required but relevant specialty experience is welcomed
• Defined orientation includes training on EPIC, competencies, and care processes
• Business casual dress code is required
• Local candidates are accepted
• On-call must be pre-approved by the department manager and follow facility policies
• Comprehensive orientation covers departmental policies, procedures, and patient care processes

• Valid PT license in Illinois required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• CPR certification required
• Valid drivers license required
