A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to serve a K-12 school setting in Vacaville, CA for the full school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language support to students across all grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations for students
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Providing direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with school district policies and regulations
Qualifications and experience required:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare or school environments
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Ability to manage caseload and work independently within a school-based team
