Physical Therapy Asst - PRN

Description:

Starr Regional Health and Rehab is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Physical Therapy Assistant f or our Nursing Home Department . This job is permanent , PRN .

Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:

• I mplements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities . Seeks consultation as necessary.

• Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.

• Documents services provided and patient response/progress.

• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.

• Assists with patient discharge planning. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Associate's of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapy: A Preferred X Required Required Licenses [Tennessee, United States] Physical Therapy Assistant
Current Physical Therapist Assistance Licensure in State of Tennessee Required Skills Certifications: The below certifications will be required at the time of hire: X Basic Life Support (BLS)
