A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Anoka, MN. This position is for the full school year and offers an opportunity to support students' communication and language development across a diverse age range.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed records of student evaluations, progress, and therapy sessions.
- Participate in student-led meetings and provide professional input on individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with K-12 students in school settings is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and staff
- Ability to develop and implement evidence-based therapy strategies
