A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school setting in Flanders, New Jersey for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position runs from August 27, 2025, to June 18, 2026, with a 26-hour workweek supporting a general education population. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services targeting language, articulation, and fluency to students within general education classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers and resource programs to integrate therapy goals into daily classroom activities
- Maintain accurate caseload records and progress documentation in compliance with district policies
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in pediatric and school-based settings, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders affecting children in elementary grades
- Ability to effectively support resource programs in-class
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
