A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to serve students at two elementary schools in Vail, AZ. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide vital speech and language support to young learners in a flexible work schedule environment, with a preference for four days per week, though five days is also possible. The role involves collaborative work across both school sites, helping students develop their communication skills to support academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and team discussions
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Current Arizona SLP license
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting is preferred
