Description

• Deliver engaging one-on-one speech therapy interventions centered on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing needs.
• Partner effectively with occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to design comprehensive care strategies.
• Facilitate education for patients and their families to encourage further progress outside of the clinical environment.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapeutic interventions, ensuring a seamless continuation of care through every step of the recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation that aligns with local, federal, and organizational requirements.
• Stay abreast of innovations in the field through continuous education and collaborative learning with peers.

Education

• A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is still pending.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
