Key qualifications and experience include: Active or pending Illinois state SLP license is required. Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred. Experience working with pediatric populations and within school settings is a strong advantage but not mandatory. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or ongoing is acceptable. ASHA certification is considered a plus. Responsibilities for this position include: Delivering direct and indirect speech-language pathology services tailored to the needs of elementary school students. Managing a caseload efficiently while collaborating with educators and school staff. Adhering to all relevant state and federal guidelines relating to speech therapy in schools. Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reporting. This contract offers guaranteed hours spanning both direct and indirect services, ensuring a stable and structured work schedule within the school calendar year.
