Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist
Join Our Team at Lebanon Center
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team at Lebanon Center, a leading skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation, long-term, and respite care services. As an AHCA Silver Quality Award Winner, a We Honor Veterans community partner, and a VA-contracted facility, we are committed to delivering high-quality care that exceeds our patients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate patients' communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including speech and language assessments, to identify areas of strength and weakness
Design and implement evidence-based therapy programs to improve patients' communication, language, and cognitive skills
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
Develop and implement strategies to address patients' unique needs and goals
Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing techniques
Document patient progress and outcomes, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
State licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in rehabilitation or long-term care
Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
What We Offer:
Competitive salary range: $39 - $45 per hour
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Weekend rotation required
