Speech Language Pathologist in Dearborn, MI

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a maternity leave coverage position in a K-12 school located in Dearborn, MI. This contract role offers an opportunity to deliver vital speech and language support to middle and high school students in an onsite environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations for students Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) effectively Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other school staff Manage a caseload involving approximately 22 middle school and 10 high school students based on the 2024-2025 school year data Ensure caseload remains well below the state maximum of 60 students Adapt to changing caseload demands for the 2025-2026 school year Desired Qualifications: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with K-12 populations, preferably middle and high school students Strong knowledge of speech and language pathology assessments and interventions Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team Commitment to maintaining compliance with relevant state and federal educational policies Work Details: Full-Time position: 37.5 hours per week Contract duration: Leave coverage with dates to be determined Onsite work only in Dearborn, MI This role provides a chance to positively impact the communication skills of students during a critical leave period while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic school environment.
