Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Occupational Therapist (OT) - School-Based | Nationwide Opportunities We are seeking passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs) to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to students with physical, sensory, cognitive, and developmental challenges impacting their ability to participate fully in school activities. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and assess students for occupational therapy needs using standardized assessments and observational data. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with goals tailored to each student's strengths and challenges. Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in individual and group settings to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional independence. Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to promote student participation in academic and daily living activities. Monitor and document progress toward IEP goals; adjust interventions as necessary. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEPs, eligibility evaluations, and student support teams. Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines. Educate and support staff and families on strategies to enhance student engagement and functional performance.
