Job Summary
To evaluate and treat pelvic floor patients with diseases, injuries, disorders and disabilities, to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance, using physical modalities and exercise prescribed by a physician. The Burlington Therapy team has a full-time opening for a qualifying Physical Therapist.

Required Qualifications*
If licensed prior to 2016: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or basic MS
If licensed on or after 2016: Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Program and Clinical Internship
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan
This position requires Primary Source Verification
Advanced specialty practice in the evaluation and treatment of all pelvic floor diagnoses for men and women
Desired Qualifications*
Demonstrated proficiency in patient treatement
A passion for rehab care- Taking patients the next steps to returning to independent functioning in home//community activities
A collaborative style and positive attitude to add to our high performing multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Work Schedule
Days, 40 hours per week, not to exceed 10 hours in a single day. Specific hours negotiable.
Modes of Work
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the .
Union Affiliation
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
