Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in Williamsburg, Virginia. This contract role requires the SLP to provide onsite services, supporting students in developing their communication skills within an educational environment. Location: Williamsburg, VA Approximately 1 hour southeast of Richmond Close proximity to Newport News About 1 hour northwest of Norfolk Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to assigned caseloads Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' specific communication needs Conduct thorough evaluations of speech and language skills Prepare clear, detailed reports and present findings as needed Complete regular progress reports to track student development Maintain accurate and up-to-date data and documentation for all cases Qualifications/Desired Experience: Valid SLP certification and licensure appropriate for school settings Experience working with students in educational environments preferred Strong skills in speech and language evaluation, assessment, and reporting Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs Excellent communication and organizational skills Commitment to maintaining accurate records and progress tracking This contract role offers the opportunity to apply your specialized skills in a supportive educational setting while making a difference in students' lives.
