Job Title: LOA Speech Language Pathologist (Short Term Coverage)
Location: Romeoville, IL 60446
Pay Rate: $50.00-55.00 p/hr
Description:
We are seeking two qualified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to fill leave of absence (LOA) positions in Romeoville, IL. These are full-time, on-site opportunities serving middle school and high school students in a supportive school district. Each role involves providing direct therapy, conducting evaluations, and participating in the IEP process.
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to middle and high school students
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students with speech/language impairments
Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
Document services and student progress according to district and state guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Previous school-based experience, especially with middle and/or high school students, preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Must be available for full-time, on-site work in Romeoville, IL
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: W2 hourly, paid weekly
