Physical Therapist

Contracted Physical Therapist (School-Based Services)
Woodbridge School District, a high-performing PreK6 district located in Woodbridge, Connecticut, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide school-based services for students with IEPs. This is a contracted, part-time opportunity designed for professionals who are passionate about supporting students physical development in an educational setting.

Position Details:

• Hours : 810 per week during the school year, with reduced hours available in the summer
• Compensation : Competitive hourly rate
• Location : Beecher Road School, on-site services required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver school-based physical therapy services in alignment with students IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations and write clear, actionable reports
• Collaborate with educators, service providers, and families in PPT and team meetings
• Ensure timely documentation that meets IDEA and district compliance standards

Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut Physical Therapist license
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong understanding of special education regulations and IEP processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
