School Occupational Therapist Roxboro, North Carolina

An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to support K-12 students during the 2025-2026 school year in New Bern, NC. This position offers a contract through the school year with a 37.5-hour workweek and includes a May Leave period. A valid North Carolina OT license is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students to improve their functional abilities in educational settings.
• Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success and develop appropriate accommodations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts to enhance educational outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
• Experience working in school-based settings with children from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Knowledge of educational laws and regulations related to special education and therapy services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
